Free Website Build
Hey everyone I recently had my fitness website built by someone who really knows their stuff, and honestly, the whole process was smooth and way more strategic than I expected. They focused on keeping the design clean, making sure everything flowed well, and structuring it in a way that actually helps turn visitors into leads, not just something that looks good. Right now, they’re offering to build a few websites for free to grow their portfolio. It’s limited, but I figured it might help someone here who’s been putting off getting their site done. If you’ve been needing a proper website (or an upgrade), this could be a solid opportunity. By the way, what’s been holding you back from getting your website set up or improved?

Why your business needs newsletters
I’ll be honest, I was getting a lot of things wrong in my business. I was posting consistently on social media, trying to keep up with trends, hoping each post would bring in customers… but it felt like I was always starting from zero. One day I’d get engagement, the next day, nothing. It was frustrating. Then I had a conversation with a marketing strategist, and he pointed out something that completely changed how I see things. He said “You don’t own your audience on social media.” That hit me. He introduced me to newsletters, and at first I thought, “emails? really?” But once I understood it, everything started to make sense. A newsletter is more than just sending emails, it’s a direct connection to people who actually want to hear from you. No algorithms deciding who sees your content. No guessing games. Since then, I’ve realized how powerful it is for a business: - You stay connected with your audience consistently - You build real trust over time - You’re not dependent on social platforms - And when you have something to offer, you’re talking to people who already know you Looking back, not having a newsletter was actually holding my business back. I was putting in effort, but I didn’t have anything to keep my audience. Setting one up turned out to be way simpler than I expected. You just need: - A platform (like Mailchimp, ConvertKit, or Beehiiv) - A signup form - And a simple plan to show up regularly That’s it. So if you’re a business owner and you’ve been where I was, doing everything but still feeling stuck, I’d love to help. He's offering to help a few businesses set up their newsletter for free (just to build out his portfolio a bit more). It’s a limited offer, so he won’t be able to take on too many. And if you’ve got questions about newsletters or you’re just curious, feel free to ask. I’m always happy to share what I’ve learned. Just wanted to put this out there in case someone else needs it.

Lets talk about websites
No matter what kind of business you run, service, product, online, local, having a website quietly does a LOT of work for you. First, credibility. Think about the last time you discovered a business on social media. One of the first things you probably did was: “Let me check their website.” A website instantly makes a business feel more real, more established, and more trustworthy. Even a simple one can change how people perceive you. Second, being easy to find. Your customers don’t have to be in the same city (or even country) as you. A website allows people to find you anytime, anywhere, even while you’re asleep. Instead of explaining what you do over and over in DMs, you can just send a link. Third, staying connected with customers. With a website, you can run newsletters, share updates, announce new products, or even just check in with your audience. It’s like having a direct line to people who already care about your business, no algorithms involved. Now, if you already have a website, this part matters. Having a website alone isn’t enough. It needs optimization. When a website is optimised: - It has a better chance of ranking on Google - People can actually find it when they search - It brings in traffic without you chasing customers And speed matters more than most people think. We’ve all clicked a site that took forever to load… and closed it after a few seconds. Most customers won’t wait. A slow website quietly loses you sales and trust. This isn’t about having the “perfect” website, it’s about having one that works for your business and your customers. If there’s anything you’d like to add, agree or disagree with, or if you have questions about websites in general, drop a comment. Let’s learn from each other.

Newsletter Is A Tool For Customer Retention
Let me ask you something. If you could talk directly to your audience whenever you wanted, no algorithm, no hoping your post gets seen, would you? That’s exactly what a newsletter is. At its core, a newsletter is simply a way to stay in touch with people who already care about what you do. They’ve raised their hand, joined your list, and said, “I want to hear from you.” And that’s powerful, especially during the holiday season. Here’s why it matters for your business. Instead of constantly chasing new people, a newsletter lets you build a relationship over time. You show up in their inbox, share something useful, tell a story, give value… and when you do have an offer, it doesn’t feel forced. During the holidays, this works even better because people are already in a buying mindset. Most businesses use newsletters to: - Share holiday offers and promotions - Educate their audience - Tell their brand story - Drive traffic and sales without sounding salesy And the best part? It’s low cost, high return, and you own the audience. The process is simple: Someone subscribes → you send consistent value → trust builds → sales follow. When a newsletter is done right, you don’t need to push. Your audience is already warmed up. If you have questions or want to add your own experience, drop a comment below

The Festive Season Is When Your Business Matters Most
This time of year, people don’t overthink. They see something, hear about a business, and go straight to look it up. If your website is clear and easy to navigate, that moment turns into trust. If it’s missing or confusing, the interest disappears just as fast. A website helps people reach you quickly, understand what you offer, and feel confident choosing you, especially during busy festive seasons. I’m fully aware that not every business can afford a website right now. Festive seasons come with extra expenses, and a website can feel like something to “push to later.” But sometimes, having the right online presence at the right moment makes all the difference. I’m an experienced web designer, and before the year ends, I want to support two business owners who truly need a website but can’t afford one right now. I’ll be building two business websites completely free. No catch, I’m doing this to help and to continue growing my portfolio with real businesses and real impact. If you already have a website and something feels off, whether it’s the design, clarity, or flow, feel free to leave a comment. I’m happy to share honest feedback. If you’d like to be considered for one of the free websites, just leave a comment below. This is simply about helping where I can, especially during this season.
