Okay, I stumbled on something super practical for the community. If you’re doing discovery calls or demos, you have to sell before the call even starts. Here’s what I mean: Zoom has this new waiting room feature. Instead of a boring blank screen, put a short video in there 30–45 seconds max. What to include in the video: • Quick testimonials from past clients • A peek at results you’ve delivered • Anything that gets the prospect thinking, “Yeah, this agency is legit, I need them.” When your client finally joins the call, they’re already convinced, engaged, and even mentally pulling out their card. You don’t spend the first 5–10 minutes convincing them they’re pre-sold before you say a word. I’m making my first video for this and will share the results soon. From what I’ve tested so far, it changes the energy of the call completely. Would anyone else try this with their next demo?

Hey all, thought I would share… I got my first big win yesterday! I now officially have a viable business! I started the day having coffee with the owner of a property management company. We had an awesome conversation about business and life in general. I didn’t walk in with the intention of selling. We just talked about what interested us. We shared about our business. As the conversation went on, we started to find more and more ways and places where our businesses aligned. My focus was just being genuinely interested in what he had going on. When it was my turn to talk, I shared my love for technology. I shared how AI, Automation, and GHL are shaping the world. It turned into a Q&A. He started to get more excited than I was as he started to realize how the things I was sharing could have Impact on his business and life! At the end of the day, I’m contracted to create the first automation for him that I should have done in the next couple days. And of course he paid me for my time and our conversation.
