Alright ladies and gentleman... The topic came up about the admiration of a women's beauty and sex appeal by men and their tendency to 'gauk' or 'look' at a women they find attractive. @James Humecky suggested we expand on the conversation about a man's visual attraction to a woman (https://www.skool.com/somatic-pleasure-7120/it-seems-like-im-having-a-little-day-off-dont-worry-my-little-munchkins-i-have-not-forgotten-about-you?p=80b1deb3). As @Ossie Osmond put it, if a man is on a 'diet' he can look at the 'menu' without sampling the food. It is an interesting perspective and clearly quite common, as I suggested, men are typically quite visual creatures. My two cents were: It is very natural to 'observe' beautiful things and people around us. The key is impulse control... when you've made a commitment to yourself or another (aka on a 'diet' 😆). In my humble opinion, it is important to keep the observation classy & respectful... No vulgar unwelcomed comments and Ideally no rubber-necking (especially if they are with another lady). I am also aware and have witnessed and experienced different cultural norms and behaviors around this as well. @Rositsa Aleksandrova @Margaret Barr @Chanie Twersky @Val Vosburg Any of you ladies have any additional thoughts or comments on a man perusing the field? This further led into the broader topic of 'self-control' and what do you (whether you're a man or a woman) find to be most attractive?

Connection to Now
I was thinking about what James said about presence and how busy our lives have become. Always needing to do that extra one little thing, or push in another client at the end of the day. Life is very busy and yet when we reconnect back to presence, when we still ourselves for a moment in the now life has a way of showing us that we can get through all we need to do with a greater sense of calm. Lately It has been a crazy busy time for me and to be honest I have felt like there's moments when I feel like I've dropped the ball. I've asked myself can life get any busier, any crazier and perhaps I need a bigger diary, and yet, I keep plodding forward. Why? Because isn't that what we do? Perhaps. For me it's showing up. Getting up and doing what I do because I know it makes a difference, not to every other person or client I have contact with but because it makes a difference to me in the end. The one thing I have noticed with absolute delight is that it has been my breath and meditation practice that has kept me connected and not spinning out even though I thought I may. It's been in those moments that I pause, breathe, recenter and then dive right back in. Why? Because I can with the belief that I will accomplish it all by being present, remaining connected and knowing that there is just the now. Not a Now that is a destination, but a Now that is within. I also recognize that tomorrow is another day and tomorrow I will still be present, connected in the now by Being. Connection to Now Every breath renews your connection to now. A gentle return to what is real and present. Not to the past that tugs, not the future that calls. But to the living doorway of this moment. The inhale gathers scattered pieces of attention. The exhale releases the weight of elsewhere. Your senses awaken to quiet truth Your body remembers where it truly lives. Now is not a place you must strive to reach. It is a home that welcomes you through breath. Each cycle brings you closer without effort.

Originally from Slovakia, I’ve spent the last few years living in Prague, where I completed my Bachelor's and started my Master's degrees at Charles University, and I completed one of them. I'm also just about to finish off my second Master's degree studies in Politics and Public Administration at the University of Konstanz in Germany! Before you try flipping your phone: no, it's not a glitch! I spent one semester studying abroad at the University of Melbourne last year. While in Australia, I made a non-stop joke about everyone living upside down on the bottom of the planet. I decided to keep my profile picture inverted as a manifestation to move back there one day - and, honestly, because I just think it’s hilarious.
