When last did you compliment yourself?
Why is it…
When you compliment someone else,
you’re seen as kind.
But when you compliment yourself,
you’re called arrogant.
Why?
Because the world is comfortable with your self-doubt.
They applaud humility—
as long as it looks like insecurity.
But confidence?
Confidence makes people uncomfortable.
Especially when it’s quiet.
Especially when it doesn’t ask for permission.
There is a difference between arrogance and self-worth.
Arrogance says:
“I’m better than you.”
Self-worth says:
“I know my value.”
Stop shrinking to make others comfortable.
You are allowed to be proud of yourself.
You are allowed to acknowledge your growth.
You are allowed to say:
“I am good at this.”
That isn’t ego.
That is evidence.
Own it.
