What Truly Matters ✨
A new week always feels like a fresh page. After spending the last few weeks protecting my energy, setting healthier boundaries and learning to let go of what no longer serves me, this week feels different. It feels like it's time to become even clearer about the life I'm building. I've realised that success isn't just about reaching goals. It's about living in alignment with the values that matter most to me. For me those are: 🀍 Kindness 🌱 Growth πŸ’š Health ✨ Integrity πŸ¦‹ Freedom β˜• Meaningful relationships πŸ’« Making a positive impact I've noticed that whenever one of these is missing, I feel out of alignment with myself. That awareness is powerful because it gives me something to come back to when life gets busy or overwhelming. Every decision I make is either moving me closer to those values or further away from them. So this week I'm choosing to live with more intention, not perfection. 🀍 Today I proved: I AM someone who lives according to what truly matters because the small choices I make every day are creating the life I want to live. 🌿
Learning to Let Go
This pastweek's reflections have reminded me that letting go isn't about pretending something never happened. It's about deciding it no longer gets to shape who I become. I've realised that I've carried disappointment for longer than I needed to, not because I wanted to, but because somewhere along the way I believed holding onto it would somehow protect me from experiencing it again. The truth is, it was only taking up space that could have been used for growth, gratitude and new opportunities. I'm learning that I can honour the lessons without carrying the weight forever. So I'm choosing to leave behind the self-doubt, the "what ifs," and the need to keep looking backwards. Instead, I'm carrying forward resilience, hope, self-respect and trust in the person I'm becoming. When those old thoughts creep back inβ€”and I'm sure they will, I want to meet them with compassion, remind myself how far I've come, and choose my next step instead of replaying the past. 🀍 Today I proved: I AM someone who learns from the past without living in it, because every day I choose to move forward with intention. 🌱

⚑ What's Missing Right Now?
πŸ‘‰ I AM someone who reflects honestly on what I carry because growth begins when I tell myself the truth.
✨ DAY 51 | LETTING GO ✨ One Emotional Weight I Am Exploring: The disappointment I still carry from things not turning out the way I hoped they would. What It Represents To Me: A reminder that sometimes people, situations, and expectations don't always unfold the way we imagine. Why It Has Been Difficult To Release: Because part of me still wishes some things had turned out differently. The Story I Keep Repeating: That maybe I could have done more, chosen differently, or somehow changed the outcome. The Part I Can Control: How I move forward. How I speak to myself. How much power I continue giving to things I can no longer change. My Biggest Realization: Sometimes we aren't holding onto the event itself anymore. We're holding onto the version of the future we thought it would create. Today I proved: πŸ‘‰ I AM someone who reflects honestly on what I carry because growth begins when I tell myself the truth. I'm learning that letting go doesn't mean forgetting. It means making space for new opportunities, new lessons, and new possibilities. 🌱 One lesson at a time. β˜• One day at a time. πŸ¦‹ One step closer to freedom.

✨ What Have You Learned About Yourself Recently?
Growth doesn't always come from big breakthroughs. Sometimes it comes from paying attention. A pattern you noticed. A boundary you needed. A strength you didn't realise you had. A habit that no longer serves you. So today I'm curious... πŸ’ What's something you've learned about yourself recently? There are no right or wrong answers. Just awareness. And awareness is often where real change begins. 🌱 I'd love to hear your thoughts below πŸ‘‡

This is a fascinating way of looking at it, Elan. "The environment has an instruction in it" is such a powerful observation. When we think about it, so many of our habits are attached to cues around us. The places we spend time, the people we interact with, even what we see when we walk into a room can influence our behaviour more than we realise. Thank you for unpacking your thinking, it gives all of us something to reflect on. 🌱

@Grant Jardine Beautiful reflection 🌱 I really love the reminder that happiness is something we choose through the small moments we pay attention to each day. Your analogy of winter making way for spring is a powerful one. Sometimes growth is happening beneath the surface long before we can see it. Thank you for sharing your wisdom with us. 🀍
