Kwik Trip Situation
This is not a political post. I experienced an unpleasant situation yesterday at a Kwik Trip in Oshkosh Wisconsin yesterday. I was with a family that I am friends with and we were driving home to Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Everyone in the car had to go to the bathroom so we stopped at a Kwik Trip. As we approached the entrance, there was a line of people waiting to get in the store. I walked up to the entrance to see what the problem was. Blocking the entrance were several muslims on the ground praying. Since my group had to go to the bathroom and couldn't wait, I walked up to the muslims and pushed them out of the way so everyone could get into the store. By the way, it was 30 degrees and snowing under a winter storm. When we got into the store, several people thanked me and said, "You are the only one who had the courage to resolve the problem. Did I do the right thing? Please let me know your thoughts. I wasn't being mean or racist. I just had to get into the store to go to the bathroom. One of the side affects of Prostrate cancer surgery is when you have to go, you have to go right away. You can't wait or you will have an accident. I really didn't have a choice in the matter. I had to take action.
