Went Back to Freemium Model
I tried a two tiered paid model with a one-week free trial during August. It was a dismal FAIL. But I am really glad I did it.
What I learned:
  1. Traffic alone does not solve the issue. If they do not convert once they land on your page, nothing will save you. Had over 2500 in traffic and only 4 sign ups. I went from 15% conversion to .02% conversion.
  2. I obviously had an offer problem. So I revamped it. A lot. Fingers crossed it lands better now.
  3. My on-boarding needed fixing. I already did this once, but obviously not to the degree it needed. I now have a 5-Day Challenge for right when they start. Each day will take no more than 10 to 30 minutes (depending on the effort they put in) so there will be many wins right up front to get momentum going. Am filming the videos for each of these days today.
  4. I took advice and am now just offering a sliver of what I offer inside the free tier. A valuable sliver. But just a sliver. Before I gave away too much for free. My community is now designed around my 6-Step process and the Free tier offers Step 1. My hope is that this will motivate to convert to higher tiers in order to get all 6 steps.
  5. The whole thing is a process, and I need to keep the faith. Trust me there have been times when I was ready to throw in the towel around all of it. What I offer is valuable though. Women are getting great results. Eventually, I will have it dialled in.
Anyway, hope this helps someone else who is finding themselves floundering around, trying to dial it all in so it actually works.
