Skool hands out screenshare in a live call one person at a time, and only someone with host rights who is actually sitting in that call can do it. A call without an admin therefore means nobody can share anything — the members wait for someone who never shows up. Auto Screenshare solves half of that: it grants everyone automatically, but only while a host is present.

This is the other half. As the owner you open screenshare for your community once, and from then on every member gets it the moment they enter a call there — with nobody from your team in the room, and without you being online at all.

There is no separate switch for it. The "Auto Screenshare" toggle in the Live Call settings is the unlock: turn it on and screenshare opens for every community you own, turn it off and the permission is withdrawn again. Ownership is verified on our side, so nobody can open a community that isn't theirs. It runs on your own Skool access, so you need to have used the extension yourself — otherwise there is nothing it could grant in your name with.

For members it happens quietly. On entering the call the extension asks once, for that one person, and only for the call they are in — no dialog, no message, no waiting: the share button is simply there. Leave and come back and it asks again for the new call. Nobody else's permissions are touched, and the requests are capped per member so a reload loop can't hammer anything.

One limit is worth knowing: the permission can only be handed out for calls that were created under your own account. Skool gives that right to whoever created the call, so if another admin scheduled the event in their name, screenshare stays closed there. Members also need the extension running — without it nobody asks, and Skool's normal rules apply.

Opening screenshare for a community is a VIP feature. Using it costs members nothing; they just need the extension.

Skool vergibt Screenshare in einem Livecall einzeln, und zwar nur durch jemanden mit Host-Rechten, der auch wirklich im Call sitzt. Ein Call ohne Admin heißt deshalb: Niemand kann etwas teilen — die Mitglieder warten auf jemanden, der nie kommt. Auto Screenshare löst die halbe Sache: Es erteilt allen automatisch die Berechtigung, aber eben nur, solange ein Host dabei ist.

Das hier ist die andere Hälfte. Als Owner gibst du Screenshare einmal für deine Community frei, und von da an bekommt es jedes Mitglied in dem Moment, in dem es dort einen Call betritt — ohne jemanden aus deinem Team im Raum und ohne dass du überhaupt online bist.

Einen eigenen Schalter dafür gibt es nicht. Der Toggle „Auto Screenshare" im Live-Call-Bereich der Einstellungen ist die Freigabe: Schaltest du ihn an, öffnet sich Screenshare für jede Community, die dir gehört; schaltest du ihn aus, ist die Berechtigung wieder weg. Die Ownership wird zusätzlich auf unserer Seite geprüft, es kann also niemand eine fremde Community freischalten. Das Ganze läuft über deinen eigenen Skool-Zugang — du musst die Extension also selbst benutzt haben, sonst hat sie nichts, womit sie in deinem Namen freigeben könnte.

Für die Mitglieder passiert das lautlos. Beim Betreten des Calls fragt die Extension einmal an, für diese eine Person und nur für den Call, in dem sie gerade ist — kein Dialog, keine Meldung, kein Warten: Der Teilen-Knopf ist einfach da. Wer den Call verlässt und zurückkommt, fragt für den neuen Call erneut an. Die Rechte anderer bleiben unangetastet, und die Anfragen sind pro Mitglied begrenzt, damit eine Reload-Schleife nichts hämmern kann.

Eine Grenze lohnt sich zu kennen: Die Berechtigung lässt sich nur für Calls vergeben, die unter deinem eigenen Konto entstanden sind. Skool gibt dieses Recht dem, der den Call angelegt hat — hat also ein anderer Admin das Event in seinem Namen eingetragen, bleibt Screenshare dort zu. Und die Mitglieder brauchen die Extension: Ohne sie fragt niemand an, und es gelten Skools normale Regeln.

Screenshare für eine Community zu öffnen ist ein VIP-Feature. Die Nutzung kostet die Mitglieder nichts, sie brauchen nur die Extension.
