Video AI (VIP Feature 💎)
Video AI — Chapters, a Summary and a Transcript for Every Classroom Video A classroom video is a black box. Nobody can tell from the outside what is in it, where the part they need starts, or whether it is worth the forty minutes — and writing chapters by hand means watching the whole thing with a notepad. Video AI does that pass for you: it listens to the video and writes back chapters with timestamps, a summary and a full transcript. You start it from the lesson itself. Open any classroom lesson with a video and a small film icon sits in the row of lesson buttons, next to the bookmark. It opens the Video AI panel, where you pick the output language and tick what you want built — summary, chapters, transcript, an MP3 of the audio, or any combination. The output language is free of the spoken one: a call held in German can come back in English, and the picker carries 28 languages. A progress view walks the generation through listening, transcribing and analysing, with an estimate of how long is left, and you can cancel at any point. What comes back is usable straight away. Chapters are buttons — click one and the video jumps to that second, no scrubbing. The summary reads as a short paragraph, the transcript sits underneath in full and scrolls on its own. Admins and owners get one more button: "Save to page" writes the summary and the chapters into the lesson description as real Skool content, with the chapter timestamps as clickable jump marks and the MP3 attached as a file — so every member sees it on the page itself, whether or not they use the Extension. Generated details are kept with the lesson and shared with your community: once anyone has run a video, every member who opens that lesson sees the panel with the chapters, summary and transcript in it. The generation itself is VIP; reading what already exists is free for everyone. Admins can also link a lesson to the live call it came from, which brings that call's attendance and chat into the same panel.

@Carrie Crews This is for the videos where you are an admin. However, once an admin has created it, the summary, chapters and transcript are visible to all members.

@Liz Lemarchand Actually, the two screenshots already show everything. You can click the Classroom button after a Skool live call or the video button directly on the Classroom page. Do you have direct videos in your classroom to test?
Member Tags (Premium Feature 👑)
𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗮𝗴𝘀 — 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗹𝘀 As your community grows, keeping track of who's who becomes a challenge. Member Tags let you create custom color-coded tags and assign them to individual members — giving you a personal CRM-like layer right inside Skool. Open the Members Panel and click the tag icon in the header to manage your tags. Create as many tags as you need (e.g. "VIP", "Coaching Client", "Affiliate Partner"), each with a distinct color chosen from 8 presets. Click any color dot to cycle through the palette. To assign tags, click the tag icon on any member row and check the tags you want — assignments are saved instantly. Tags appear as small colored badges next to member names throughout the entire platform: in the feed, comments, classroom, and anywhere Skool displays a username. This way you can instantly recognize tagged members without opening the Members Panel. If a member has more than two tags, a "+N more" indicator keeps things tidy. You can also right-click any profile name or avatar anywhere on Skool to quickly assign or remove tags via a popover — no need to open the Members Panel first. All tag data syncs across your devices via Chrome Sync. The feature is available for community admins and owners and can be toggled on or off in the Toolkit Settings under the Admin section.

𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝘃𝟭.𝟴.𝟭 🤖 𝗔𝗜 𝗕𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘁 - One monthly pot for everything that uses AI - Cloud voices, the About page analysis and AI-written workflow texts draw from the same monthly budget now - The membership block in Settings shows what is left — a bar, the split per feature and the date it resets - The budget grows with your plan — Premium, VIP and VIP+ each get a larger one - Hearing the same post read out again is free — only new work counts against it ✉️ 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 - Member emails from your own Gmail or Outlook 365 - Emails to members can go out from your Gmail address — tick "Gmail" on the connected Google account - Outlook 365 and Outlook.com join as their own connection — sign in once, no app password - Pick the sender per email action, and for the bulk send from the members list - Mail server credentials are no longer required — your own server stays available as a sender 💬 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝘁𝘀 - Drafts, pasted screenshots and voice notes as MP3 - Unsent text stays in the chat — the list shows "Draft:" and lifts that chat to the top - A pasted screenshot waits above the input as a preview — it only goes out when you send - Typed text rides along with the image as its caption, in the same message - Voice notes go out as MP3 — they play on any machine, including Windows without extra codecs - A download button saves a finished take before sending 💸 𝗔𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 (𝗩𝗜𝗣) - Your Skool commissions in the dashboard - A new tile shows your affiliate commissions — last 30 days, lifetime and account balance - The ring splits lifetime commission by person or by community — a chip switches between them - Commissions Skool still holds back stand next to the balance as "available soon" - The trend view builds up from the day you first open the tile 🔧 𝗙𝗶𝘅𝗲𝘀 & 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵 - Comments carry their own bookmark icon on hover — the entry in Skool's "…" menu is gone - The menu bar hides away completely — a hover over the puzzle icon brings it back - Members list: a "Former customers" folder collects members who once paid, and tier changes land in the profile's activity

𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝘃𝟭.𝟴.𝟮 💎 𝗩𝗜𝗣 - Everything that was VIP+ is simply VIP now - VIP+ is gone as a plan — the features it carried belong to VIP, and VIP+ customers move over to VIP - Video Details, classroom video transcripts and the Login Log come with VIP from now on - "Hidden features" moves into the VIP column — the extras we do not list publicly - The monthly AI budget for VIP more than doubles, from 200,000 to 500,000 - The plans table is down to three columns — Free, Premium and VIP ⚡ 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗕𝘂𝗹𝗸 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 (𝗩𝗜𝗣) - Everything at once for a whole selection - "Change Tier" puts a selection on Standard, Premium or VIP — an admin override, so no subscription is created or charged - "Change Role" turns them into member, moderator or admin, in the same dialog - "Tag", "Pipeline Status" and "Grant Course Access" set a value on everyone you picked - "Mention in post", "Write email" and "Export as CSV" carry the same selection onwards - Progress runs along live, "Stop" halts it mid-run, and the owner and anyone already on that value is skipped 👤 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗲 (𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘂𝗺) - Notes, tags and activity without VIP - Every member's profile opens on Premium — contact fields, notes, tags, links, own fields, stats and the activity timeline - The VIP parts stay in place as dashed rows with a diamond — pipeline status, deal value, affiliate code, contributions and course progress - A click on such a row opens the plans overview — and because those parts no longer load, the profile opens faster - Follow-up date and the "Follow-up due" sorting moved to Premium as well - Menus, settings and the plans table simply say "Profile" now — the "CRM" in front of it is gone 🔧 𝗙𝗶𝘅𝗲𝘀 & 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵 - Every comment can be read aloud on its own — hover it and the speaker sits next to its 3-dot button - Group Chat: your own message stays editable after it was read, and edit and delete keep their place on the left - "Badges on my own name" is its own switch under "Appearance" now — open to everyone, on by default
Voice Messages
𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀 — 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗼 𝗶𝗻 𝗗𝗠𝘀 Typing long messages can be tedious. Voice Messages let you record audio directly in Skool's direct messages and send it as a file attachment — no external tools needed. Open any DM conversation and you'll see a microphone icon next to the attachment button. Click it to start recording. While recording, a live waveform visualization shows your audio levels in real time, along with a timer counting up. Click the microphone again to stop recording and automatically attach the audio file to your message. The recording uses your browser's native audio capabilities (WebM/Opus format) for high-quality voice capture. There's a 10-minute maximum recording time — if you hit the limit, the recording automatically stops and attaches. The audio file is sent through Skool's native file attachment system, so the recipient can play it right in the chat. The waveform visualization adapts to your current theme (dark or light mode), and the feature can be toggled on or off in the Toolkit Settings.

@Valeria Gho You can send someone a voice and they can listen to it via the Skool app on their phone. Otherwise, I'm currently building a native Skool app that will also work on the phone.
