The Skool Toolkit has grown to over sixty features. The settings panel lists them all, but a name and a one-line description don't really show you what a feature looks like. The Guided Tour walks you through the whole toolkit step by step, right inside your own Skool community, with each feature highlighted live on the page where it actually lives.

There are two versions: a Free Tour covering everything in the free tier, and a separate Premium Tour for premium features. Both launch the same way — from the green "Start Tour" button in the welcome popup, the toolbar button, or the entry at the top of the settings panel. If you exit halfway, the next time you open the tour it offers to pick up right where you left off.

What sets it apart from a static screenshot tutorial is that it never leaves Skool. When the next step is a Discovery feature, the tour navigates you to Discovery. When it's a setting that only makes sense in a live call, it routes you into a call. Each step paints a green frame around the actual element being explained and dims everything else with a soft spotlight, so your eye lands exactly where it should. You see the feature in its real context with your own data — not in a mock-up.

The tour card sits at the bottom of the screen and stays out of your way. It has a short title, a few bullet points, an "Enable this feature" switch for features with an on/off setting, and back/next buttons. Toggle a feature inside the card and your choice sticks — switch off Custom Tooltips mid-tour and they stay off when the tour ends. For features that depend on a list (which communities get the translate button, which languages to skip), the same picker from the settings panel is built right into the card, so you can configure as you go. A small link icon in the top-right corner opens the feature's full announcement post in a new tab if you want the deep dive.

Translation steps get a clever twist. Demoing automatic translation only works if the page is in a language you don't already speak — translating English into English shows nothing. So at the Discovery step, the tour filters Discovery by a language other than yours; at the about-page step, it routes you to a foreign-language community (German by default, Italian if you already speak German). The moment you land on the step, you actually see the toolkit translating real content into your language.

A small navigation strip on the left lets you jump straight to a section ("only show me Admin features", "skip ahead to Notifications") instead of clicking through every step. You can leave any time with the close button — the toolkit cleans up after itself and brings you back to your home community. Whether you just installed the extension or have used it for a year, the Guided Tour is the fastest way to find out what the toolkit can do.

Das Skool Toolkit ist auf über sechzig Features angewachsen. Das Einstellungsfenster listet sie alle auf, aber ein Name und eine Zeile Hilfetext zeigen dir nicht wirklich, wie ein Feature aussieht. Die Geführte Tour führt dich Schritt für Schritt durchs gesamte Toolkit — direkt in deiner eigenen Skool-Community, jedes Feature live auf der Seite hervorgehoben, auf der es tatsächlich lebt.

Es gibt zwei Varianten: die Free Tour deckt alles ab, was in der kostenlosen Stufe verfügbar ist; die Premium Tour ist ein eigener Rundgang durch die Premium-Features. Beide starten gleich — über den grünen „Tour starten"-Button im Welcome-Popup, den Toolbar-Button oder den Eintrag ganz oben im Einstellungsfenster. Wenn du mittendrin abbrichst, bietet die Tour beim nächsten Öffnen an, genau dort weiterzumachen, wo du aufgehört hast.

Was die Tour von einem statischen Screenshot-Tutorial unterscheidet: sie verlässt Skool nie. Wenn der nächste Schritt ein Discovery-Feature ist, navigiert die Tour dich automatisch dorthin. Wenn es eine Einstellung ist, die nur in einem Live Call Sinn ergibt, wirst du in einen Call geroutet. Jeder Schritt zeichnet einen grünen Rahmen um das tatsächliche Element und dimmt alles andere mit einem weichen Spotlight, damit dein Blick genau dort landet, wo er soll. Du siehst das Feature in seinem echten Kontext mit deinen eigenen Daten — nicht in einem Mock-up.

Die Tour-Karte sitzt unten am Bildschirmrand und bleibt dir nicht im Weg. Sie enthält einen kurzen Titel, ein paar Stichpunkte, einen „Feature aktivieren"-Schalter für Features mit Ein/Aus-Einstellung sowie Zurück- und Weiter-Buttons. Schalte ein Feature in der Karte ein oder aus und deine Entscheidung bleibt erhalten — schalte Custom-Tooltips mittendrin aus und sie bleiben aus, wenn die Tour endet. Für Features, die von einer Liste abhängen (welche Communities den Übersetzungs-Button bekommen, welche Sprachen übersprungen werden), ist genau derselbe Picker wie im Einstellungsfenster direkt in die Karte eingebettet — du kannst im Vorbeigehen konfigurieren. Ein kleines Link-Icon oben rechts öffnet den vollständigen Ankündigungs-Post zum Feature in einem neuen Tab, wenn du den Deep Dive willst.

Die Übersetzungs-Schritte bekommen einen cleveren Twist. Automatische Übersetzung lässt sich nur sinnvoll demonstrieren, wenn die Seite in einer Sprache ist, die du nicht ohnehin schon sprichst — Englisch in Englisch zu übersetzen zeigt einfach nichts. Also filtert die Tour beim Discovery-Schritt nach einer Sprache, die nicht deine ist; beim About-Page-Schritt routet sie dich zur About-Seite einer fremdsprachigen Community (standardmäßig eine deutsche, ersatzweise eine italienische, wenn du selbst Deutsch sprichst). In dem Moment, in dem du auf dem Schritt ankommst, siehst du, wie das Toolkit echten Inhalt in deine Sprache übersetzt.

Eine kleine Navigationsleiste links lässt dich direkt zu einer Sektion springen („zeig mir nur die Admin-Features", „spring weiter zu Benachrichtigungen"), ohne jeden Schritt dazwischen anzuklicken. Du kannst die Tour jederzeit mit dem Schließen-Button verlassen — das Toolkit räumt hinter sich auf und bringt dich zurück in deine Home-Community. Egal ob du die Extension gerade erst installiert hast oder sie seit einem Jahr benutzt — die Geführte Tour ist der schnellste Weg, um herauszufinden, was das Toolkit alles kann.
