My new book hit #1 in Chronic Pain, #1 in Pain Management, and #1 in New Age Mental & Spiritual Healing this weekend.

Full transparency: these are Amazon's free charts, not the paid ones. I’d rather state that clearly than let anyone assume otherwise. But it still put the book directly in front of hundreds of strangers looking for relief.

What actually drove it:

Gave it to my community first. 20 personalized advance copies, addressed to real people by name. They became the first reviewers and the loudest sharers.
Taught instead of pitched. Two live sessions over the launch —10 minutes of teaching, practicing together, then Q&A. People buy after they’ve experienced the work.
Kept the community free. The free school is the distribution. People trust me enough to download a book because nothing was extracted from them first.

The uncomfortable truth: None of this happened because of launch week. It happened because of three years of showing up weekly to a room of people(Circle, then switch over to Skool), most of whom will never pay me anything. The launch simply collected on built-up trust.
