Failure Wednesday Celebration 🎉
everyone celebrates wins. wins are good. we want them. but the road to success is paved with failures, many, many, of them. so, we are here normalizing failures. no. we are not just normalizing, we are celebrating them. what is failure? FAILURE is an action - something you did - and the result was not what you expected/wanted to be. Capiche? we are NOT: - celebrating procrastination - celebrating waiting for someone or smth to save us with that... what's your FAILURE from last week that you should celebrate - and we can celebrate together? as always, i will start

Well, I just keep myself "busy" but not where I supposed to be busy. Crazy 😁😁😁 I avoid painful content creation.

@Lidia Axe Thanks. Yeah, I agree
Skool News | the Axe Verdict
i can't believe it's Wed again. oh, well. it is. so, the Skool News are out. and here is the good, the bad and the ugly about it. let's get started. === the good: - Skool is working on Live Calls v2 - great improvements are under way: better quality, stability, performance, chat, etc. it's great news. let's see when it's out - i would love to use Skool live calls more - hopefully, it increases events attendance + group activity. - more payment methods are coming - also good. some ppl like to pay PayPal or smth else, not the credit card. so, hopefully, increases conversion/decreases resistance to paid. - Global search and Global Calendar are in process. both are great features. let's hope they come soon. Growth Boost UPDATE - for those who use it - v2 should be out this week. with this version: - ads are dynamic - so, if you change cover image, pricing, whatever, changes are reflected in the ads within 1 hour (very ambitious goal) - you should get a dedicated campaign with 10 images if you have 100 clicks and 1 paid sign-up over the last 30 days. this looks realistic. - partnership ads have a dedicated tab in your settings - GROWTH - you can see if you are eligible or not. still no transparency about YOUR efficiency score vs what score you must have, cause they say it will make you focus on the wrong thing 🤔 no comment === the bad: - they keep saying that they spend $5k per day on some campaigns. promises, promises, promises... no clarity for how many ppl? who are those ppl? what are their efficiency score? what's our efficiency scores? so, again, it's a BLACK BOX situation. === the ugly (truth): - Skool of the week... i usually don't watch - cause it's often "survivorship bias" or "lottery winners". both have no significance or learnings to my business or yours. but i did this time. and surprise-surprise , the first Skool of the week is Dr. Izzy Sealey, "who is making $4,419 MRR and it's only a few weeks old group - very new" - how cool is that 🤩 ?!

Yeah. I agree with your statements. I was watching about GB again. And case studies. A lot of Skoolers feed is like 50/50. Some kind of. For some people it works, especially with big SM following. For some - it doesn't.They mentioned there's gonna be more transparency in all this. We'll see. And what 90% of people do - they turn on 70% and wait, or pray, lol. I don't have Meta acc. I have IG but no Facebook.
🗞️ Skool Events Daily has Moved Online
Skool Events Daily has moved online, and there are a few events coming up that could be particularly useful for you guys ⬇️ - Ignite Your Brand for anyone working on how they show up and communicate what they do - Video Comfort Starts Here if getting visible on camera is still something you’d rather avoid, and - The Entrepreneur Curse for another angle on the realities of building your own thing. There are also events around goals, business and connecting with other entrepreneurs — so plenty to have a rummage through depending on what you're working on right now. The old Skool Events Daily weekly flip-book has now become a live website, which means you can check what’s coming up whenever you want, with new events being added as they come in. Have a look and see if there’s something useful for where you are right now: 👉 https://eventsdaily.online/events p.s. join Skool Events Daily to showcase your own events

🍿 Why Consistency Matters (Even When Your Only Member Is Your Mom)
Saturday movie time: Julie & Julia. one of my favs and it's secretly a movie about building a community. if you haven't seen it, Julie decides to cook all 524 recipes from Julia Child's cookbook in 365 days. and blog about every single one. her first reader was her mom. that's the part i love most. she kept cooking and posting for an audience that didn't exist yet. day 12. day 40. day 90. mostly quiet. but then people started showing up. not because one post blew up. because she'd been there every day when they arrived. that's why consistency matters on Skool. people do stay where someone has clearly been showing up for a while. which brings me to the flame 🔥 yes, there is a lot of discussion about the flame: to flame or not to flame. in the Hackathon i keep nagging you about it: - 10 activities a day on Skool. - a like, a comment, a post, - anything counts. and i know some of you are thinking "what does a little flame have to do with getting 100 members or success on Skool" everything, actually. the flame is your Julie blog. it's proof that YOU ARE TAKING IT SERIOUSLY. because the people who get to 100 members aren't the most talented ones. they're the ones who kept showing up on the boring days. i know that most of you have a job, a family, a life. BUT 10 activities is something you can do on a coffee break. Julie had a day job too, and she still boned a duck at midnight. so while you watch, ask yourself: 1. when does Julie want to quit, and what keeps her going? 2. Julia gets told no on her book. what would you have done at the first no? 3. Julie cooks after work. where's your "after work" slot for your business? 4. if you committed to your community for a full year, not a month, what would you do differently starting Monday? grab popcorn. come back and drop your answer in the comments: what day of your flame are you on? ⬇️ p.s. i changed my plans here to annual only: Premium at $9/ VIP at $90. you must commit or it does not work.

Found this post tonight about GB 😁
Just made a screenshot before it's get deleted. People are getting angry about growth boost etc. That's what @Lidia Axe is talking about and many of us who barely started earning our first dollar on Skool.
