There is one image that means a great deal to me, as it has to do with my heritage. My great grandmother was a leader in the Wintu community of Northern California. I did a whole series for her and entered it into Prompt. Denied. Oh well. Then I entered one new image in honor of her to 'Ancestral Futures' at 34Gallery.org. Found out a couple of nights ago that it was selected. So GiGi, if you are listening - this one is for you!
