Ads or Offer problem?
Hey everyone — I’ve recently launched a direct-to-offer Evergreen Ads campaign (£4.99/mo micro-subscription). Optimizing for ViewContent with:
  • Verified domain
  • Pixel firing cleanly
  • Strong testimonial creatives
  • Broad Tier-1 targeting
  • $50/day CBO
The challenge I’m facing is this:
I’m getting a lot of clicks and ViewContent events (0.04 cpc), but almost no Initiate Checkouts and zero purchases.
Traffic feels very low-intent, and only a tiny % of visitors click through to the checkout page.
My questions for anyone who’s run direct-to-offer Evergreen campaigns:
  1. Is ViewContent still the right optimisation for a micro-offer with zero purchase history?Or should I switch to something else?
  2. Is it normal to see strong ViewContent numbers but very few Initiate Checkouts in the first 72 hours?(Still early learning phase.)
  3. How do you tell the difference between a traffic quality issue vs an offer/sales page problem at this stage?
