FOMO

I want to invest for the long term, but in the meantime, the market is at its peak or rising. Is this the right time to buy stocks for the long term? I often hear the term "FOMO," and in my case, it is real. I often think that if I miss it now, it may go up further, and I will miss the opportunity. In the end, I end up buying stocks at their peak price, and they fall from there.
