Okay you WONDERFUL (and techie) people:
GIANT lightning storm rocked our Ranch yesterday. The ground was struck by lightning and fried SOMETHING in my PC desktop computer - it would turn on but not boot up. Had to restore to a version from yesterday afternoon.
The computer was OFF and it was plugged into a battery backup.
What's my GO TO to give it EXTRA protection? I have Carbonite to automatically back up but that doesn't actually grab ALL files.
We have slow and unstable Wi-fi so a fully cloud-based system PROBABLY isn't the solution.
I have nearly a TB in data that would need to be protected.
Help appreciated!
