Full-Time Income Is Closer Than You Think 💵
This week, one of my fabulous Goodbye 9-to-5 Mastermind members, @Nicola Skeet , quit her day job. She’s officially going all in on her business. Cue the confetti, dramatic music, and flinging her employee badge into the trash. 🎉 But this didn’t happen because Nicola sat around wishing, planning, tweaking, and waiting for the perfect time. She took the leap, got focused, and became more visible. (BTW, the July theme in the mastermind is VISIBILITY). She consistently did the work that could actually grow her business and make MONEY. That’s the part people sometimes miss. They say they want full-time income from their businesses . . . but they spend their time on busy work that doesn't lead to sales. ❌ Rewriting their About page for the millionth time. ❌ Planning offers they never promote. ❌ Watching another training instead of talking about what they sell. They’re technically working on their businesses, I guess. 🤷‍♀️ But they’re not doing the work that builds a business capable of replacing a paycheck. Meanwhile, look at what happens when you stop treating your business like a someday dream: 💵 @Devyn Price earned $5,000 in her first month inside Goodbye 9-to-5. 💵 @Samantha Stefaniak earned $7,800 in one week. 💵 @Abbey Strodtbeck built more than $3,000 in recurring monthly income from her Skool group. 💵 And now @Nicola Skeet has quit her day job and is going all in. CURIOUS? Different businesses. Different offers. Different paths. But the same basic pattern: They got focused, became visible, sold consistently, and kept going. Your full-time income isn't hiding inside another month of preparation. It’s built when you stop asking, “What else should I create?” And start asking: “What do I need to sell, share, and complete TODAY?”

When life gets overwhelming, what's the first thing to go out the window?
Yesterday I had a plan. A real one — dinner sorted, a load of washing on, ten minutes to myself before pickup. By 3pm none of that existed. Dinner became "whatever's in the freezer," the washing sat there judging me, and my ten minutes became answering the same question four times in a row. It's never one big thing that tips it over — it's just... everything, all at once. And something always has to give first. So tell me — when life gets overwhelming, what's the first thing to go out the window for you? - 😴 My sleep (I'll just be tired forever, it's fine) - 🥗 Actual meal plans (hello, cereal for dinner) - 🧘 Any form of "self-care" — first thing to get cut - 😤 My patience (sorry not sorry, kids)

@Stephanie Lewis Meal planning is often one of the first things to go because it's so much easier to grab whatever's quick when you're overwhelmed. Then sleep starts to suffer too, and before you know it, everything feels that little bit harder. Thank you for sharing—I'm sure so many other mums will be reading your comment and thinking, "It's not just me." 💜

@Michelle Liggitt You're never too late! 😊 I love this perspective. It sounds like you've really taken the time to understand what your mind and body need, and I completely agree that eating well and getting enough sleep *are* forms of self-care—they're the foundation that everything else rests on. It's interesting that patience is what slips instead. I think a lot of mums will recognise that feeling when their cup starts to empty. I'd love to hear more about the systems you've put in place—they sound like they've made a real difference! 💜
