Building your herbal apothecary
As someone who owns over 35 (and counting) herbs and roots; People always ask me: “How did you get so many herbs” “Where do you buy them from” “How did you know what to buy” My answer to a lot of things within the spiritual realm is research, research, research! And from multiple sources! So you can compare information as what one person may know may differ from the next based on their own practices, teachings and region in which they reside. It also helps you build a well rounded understanding and practice. Also, once you start building; there is no shame in labelling your containers. Rather be safe than sorry. Two, in terms of actually purchasing items to grow my apothecary, once you know what you are looking for you’ll notice you can find herbs almost anywhere. Whether it’s from a botanica or the spice section in the grocery store. Salt is still salt even if one is labelled Atlantic sea salt and the other is pink Himalayan. A herb is a herb regardless if it cost $1 or $100. Just as an example Our ancestors didn’t always have the funds or the resources to buy every little thing they needed so that is also why many herbs have multiple different uses - more bang for your buck. Just some food for thought on this stunning Friday 💭

Spirits appreciate gratitude above all else
I took a few days off from my normal conjure routine (which is a lot for a daily practitioner) and I decided to show some gratitude to one of my favourite spirits’ last night. One that I have been working with since about 2023 and he never fails me. I didn’t have anything to ask for because truly so much has shifted in the last few weeks that I can finally say I am content but I still wanted to check in if you will. Safe to say he appreciated the offerings and he appreciated the sincerity.

Orisha Devotional Oils
I just wanted to share this photo of these oils I made as a dedication to the Orishas I work with including the two that crowned me. This is very personal to me so I won’t be sharing the recipe but just wanted to show you that this is something you can do to continue to build your connection to the orisha/deities/spirits etc that you work with. I use these oils on my body on their devotional days, when I ask for their support in my day or when I am burning candles on their devotional days. Happy Moon-day! Asé, Sade Ifadayo

Thoughts on next classrooms
Happy Saturn-day everyone! As I am doing a return to sender working for a client of mine, a thought popped into my mind. Should I create a classroom that talks about creating your own spiritual waters. Such as an altar water, Florida water or even an abundance and prosperity water. Let me know your thoughts as I have a really cool one that I can share that I made during international women’s day 💖

Make your Conjure oils WORK for you!
I’ve spoken with a few people about this but thought to add it to my Skool. One way that I use my conjure oils is adding it to my lotion. That way I can say, “whenever I apply this lotion I am calling in xxxx” - especially for those of us that have a lot of conjure oils on hand! This can be a way to help you use them easily. It’s also really great for those that have children, add some protection oils into their lotion and make it a routine every morning for them to say “I am safe, I am protected, nothing or no one can harm me”. Feel free to follow my IG page as I also share some tips on there 💖https://www.instagram.com/mirthsjewels?igsh=NTRqOGQ3dDQzZ2hz&utm_source=qr
