๐Ÿฆบ Real Talk: Safety vs Operations
One of the biggest challenges in the WSH industry is balancing safety requirements with operational demands.
As safety personnel, we often hear:
๐Ÿ‘‰ "Just do first, settle the paperwork later."
๐Ÿ‘‰ "The client is chasing."
๐Ÿ‘‰ "We are already behind schedule."
๐Ÿ‘‰ "We've done it this way for years."
The reality is that safety and productivity should not be competing against each other.
A serious accident can result in:
โŒ Work stoppages
โŒ Delays
โŒ Financial losses
โŒ Injuries or loss of life
โŒ Damage to company reputation
Good safety management is not about stopping work.
It is about helping work proceed safely and efficiently.
In your experience, what is the best way to gain cooperation from operations and site personnel?
