The simple stuff works
A lot of Facebook ads and marketing guru's will try to teach you the next "hack" to improve your ROAS. Thinking they've developed some proprietary success formula (they never have...) But what's worse? Often times, these revolutionary new tactics and strategies presented come at the cost of deprioritizing the stuff that actually brings results. Audience testing, for example. 5 interest groups. 1% - 10% lookalikes. It's especially frustrating because sometimes, the strategies actually work. At least, for a little while. But in the long run? Your business would have made SO MUCH MORE MONEY if you had focused on the simple stuff. Being polarizing sells courses and masterminds. So I of all people understand why they do it. But as a business owner who doesn't have a wealth of experience with digital ads day in and day out for the past decade? It makes the world of paid ads confusing and needlessly difficult. Prioritize what moves the needle for the long game. Not short term stuff that might temporarily boost Facebook platform attributed ROAS. - Developing creative diversity in your ad account - Analyzing your data using performance creative analysis - improving the landing page and offer you're driving traffic to

Don't be so "laser focused" with your ad account.
Here's a fun story from back in the day when I was working at a digital media agency. Laser focused. t's a corporate buzzword, I get it. We want to "laser focus so we don't miss any details." But sometimes, zooming out and viewing the bigger picture can mean ALL the difference. Let me explain... Most people will view a winning ad in their ad account and think, "YES! I've finally found my unicorn ad concept. It's generated 27 sales today and driven a tremendous profit for my business! Let me laser focus on this ad and turn off everything else that doesn't have a good CPA or ROAS." The logic checks out. Invest more of your $$$ into the stuff that's making your business money, on paper. Remove investment on ads that aren't generating a profitable return on each dollar. But time and time again, I've seen the following story play out... Step #1: Client sees winning ad. Client requests we scale winning ad, and cut budget on everything else. Step #2: All investment gets shifted to that #1 asset. Step #3: Like clockwork. Scale goes up slightly, and then, over the next few days or few weeks, performance plumets off the side of a cliff. Step #4: The client is left bamboozled. Unsure of what went wrong. Step #5: We need to restabilize the ad account and turn on the older assets. Or upload new, unproven stuff. But why did this happen? If the client had just taken a moment to zoom out and view how their ENTIRE Facebook funnel was operating, they could have saved their ad account from the impending doom. Meta and TikTok are intent driving platforms at their core. That's what they're best at. They sit at the tippy top of your entire customer journey. It's your job to maximize the volume and quality of people going through it. But the funnel itself is not static. It's not black and white. Because users almost never purchase from your business the first time they interact with it. They see one Facebook ad, then click off. Three days later, they see your TikTok ad. They click to your website but then get distracted and never purchase.

Different Types of UGC (user generated content)
You might have heard some people on social media telling you to test UGC ads. Bragging on their authenticity and relatively cheap cost to produce for video content. But the truth is, there's way more to it than just producing UGC. Because there's so many different TYPES of ad content you can create. And some will work better than others for your business and product. Be more intentional. Figure of which types of UGC will work best for your ads, and then test them in a controlled environment. Here's 10 I can name off the top of my head right now: - X reasons why - TikTok made me buy - What I ordered VS what I got - Transformation - Comment response - Education - Lifestyle - Testimonial - Podcast - Endorsement Get to testing, you've got this! 🚀

Getting people to actually buy your stuff
Nobody likes to be sold. Nobody feels inclined to "hear you out" as to why your product is so amazing. Nobody wants to feel like they're being manipulated into giving you their money. But EVERYONE has a problem that they want solving. And NOW. Not tomorrow, next week, next year... They want their problems to vanish with a snap of their fingers. People want to lose weight and feel attractive. People want to make more money so they can buy that new Ferrari. People want more free time so they can spend it with their family. So if you want to make REAL money... Make your "Complete order" button feel as close to a effortless finger snap as humanely possible. From the first interaction, to the website, to the objection handling, to the final decision. As seamless as possible. Make them believe your offer gets them from point A (suffering, however big or small) to point B (transformation to happiness). Make them believe their money isn't worth as much as what you're offering. Make them feel regret for not purchasing. Hack into their psychology. It's not hard as you think. Remember -- you're a human, too.
