When I started upgrading my dress shirts last summer, I dove in to Paul Fredrick way too much. Sadly, I have removed most of these shirts from my wardrobe given their lack of classic approach (at least on the shirts I purchased). One of the three remaining shirts, however, I absolutely love.
It is a 100% linen (so the tag says) barrel cuff dress shirt with a flat placket. The amazing part of this shirt is that it is non-iron linen. It has been hanging in a compressed closet for three months and did not have a wrinkle on it. It can be washed normally and even dried (no fabric freshener).
Honestly, with what I now know about linen, none of this makes sense! I imagine it is covered in some chemical that, over time, will fade and make these glorious properties devolve. Does anyone know if this is the case or if there is simply a wizard who work on these at Paul Fredrick?
