Recently acquired this double-breasted coat — have not worn a double-breasted coat since before puberty as I feared it would only accentuate my already-too-big chest and skinny legs. But I loved the look of this coat enough to chance wearing to last night’s concert by Lea Salonga, the original Miss Saigon.

Blue corduroy double-breasted jacket and cream and blue pocket square, both by Brunello Cucinelli; Loro Piana off-white cotton twill button-up shirt; Luciano Barbera cotton glen-plaid trousers; shell cordovan belt by Allen Edmonds and loafers by Alden; Southern Scholar blue pin-stripe patterned calf-length socks; Apple Watch Hermès Series 10 with Grand H stainless steel watch band; Saks Fifth Avenue navy blue wool flat cap; Hermès navy silk-cashmere scarf.
