A few new (or new to me) items on this outfit. I've got my first off-white shirt with an ivory CT French cuff shirt. I've got some old-school cufflinks that are connected via a small chain to the double sided holders. Using my Friday rules regarding bringing down cost per wear on items.
Have a great weekend, everyone!
• Shirt — DS-048 (Charles Tyrwhitt): An ivory non-iron twill dress shirt in 2-ply cotton with French cuffs and a classic point collar. The slim cut delivers a clean silhouette while the soft hand and medium opacity provide all-day comfort without show-through—perfect for layering under a linen vest on video calls.
• Undershirt — US-017 (True Classic): A carbon crew-neck undershirt in cotton-polyester blend that disappears beneath the ivory shirt. The darker tone prevents any shadow effect while providing a snug, comfortable base layer throughout the day.
• Vest — VWC-004 (Perry Ellis): A natural linen herringbone business vest with five cream/bone buttons and a silver dual-direction rear buckle. Breathable and textured, this Spring/Summer piece adds visual interest and dimension while keeping the outfit cool for warmer June weather.
• Slacks — SL-023 (Enzo Tovare): Navy suit slacks in Super 150 lightweight worsted wool with a slight sheen and flat-front design. The 1" cuff and low rise give a modern cut, while the breathable fabric makes these ideal for warm-weather business settings—sophisticated without the weight.
• Tie — NT-050 (Paul Fredrick): A steel blue/gray silk tie with silver/white and gold/yellow scattered squares on a herringbone base, 3-fold construction, 4" width. The matte finish and subtle pattern add textural interest without competing with the linen vest—business formal with a modern touch.
• Belt — B-012 (Wolksprong): A brown leather heavy-duty belt with light dots and a brass buckle. The warm leather tone bridges the light tan suede shoes while the brass metal coordinates with the gold tie accessories—rugged meets refined.
• Footwear — DSh-013 (Brooks Brothers): Light tan suede dirty bucks with crepe soles and Blake-stitch construction. Classic preppy Americana that signals Spring/Summer effortlessly—the perfect casual-elegant complement to navy slacks and natural linen.
• Socks — DSo-081 (Mazarin): Beige over-the-calf cotton lisle socks in ribbed construction from Italy. The neutral tone provides seamless transition between tan shoes and navy slacks while the OTC height ensures no skin shows during video calls.
• Cufflinks — CL-026 (Waolingrim): Gold oval double-sided cufflinks with brushed finish and chained connection. The warm gold tone harmonizes with the tie bar, collar clip, and brass belt buckle—quiet luxury for French cuffs.
• Pocket Square — PS-002 (Charles Tyrwhitt): A light tan solid pocket square in silk and wool blend, 12" size. Presented in a tri-peak fold for an interesting, professional geometry that complements the neutral palette without competing for attention.
• Collar Clip — TA-010 (Fort Belvedere): A gold collar clip with double-sided clamps in solid brass. High-tension coils keep the classic point collar perfectly positioned for video calls while coordinating with the gold metal theme.
• Tie Bar — TA-009 (Unnamed): A gold tie bar with shimmering triangle pattern in plated gold. Anchors the tie precisely at the vest opening while maintaining metal harmony across all accessories.
• Watch (Left) — W-006 (Fossil Townsman Automatic): A 42mm automatic with blue skeleton dial and mid-brown leather strap. The open-heart display provides conversation-starting visual interest, while the brown leather coordinates with the belt and shoes.
• Watch (Right) — W-001 (Apple Watch 10): Slate titanium Apple Watch for everyday functionality—health tracking, notifications, and seamless integration, worn on the right for non-client video conference days.
• Pen — P-002 (Montblanc): The iconic Meisterstück 149 fountain pen in black precious resin with platinum trim and 18K gold nib. A leadership-grade writing instrument that signals precision when the vest pocket calls for it.
• Business Card Carrier — BCC-002 (Fort Belvedere): A brown/tan bison leather bifold with silver clasp and quilted interior. The soft leather develops beautiful patina while matching the day's warm leather palette.
• Fragrance — FR-008 (Roberto Ugolini Kitten Heel): A playful extrait with bright fruits, light florals, and soft amber musks. Charming and unexpected for Friday—the Spring/Summer signature that says "weekend is approaching" while remaining office-appropriate.
• Ring — R-001 (Wedding Ring): Always present, always meaningful.
🗓️ FRIDAY RULES APPLIED — Low-Wear Rotation Analysis
Per Step 1A4 of the AI Code, Fridays prioritize items from the 35 least frequently worn (based on "Actual # Wears from 9/15/25" column) to ensure full wardrobe utilization.
Item Wardrobe ID Friday Rule Status
Dress Shirt DS-048 ✅ Unworn — Top priority
Necktie NT-050 ✅ Unworn — Top priority
Cufflinks CL-026 ✅ Unworn — Top priority
Socks DSo-081 ✅ Barely worn
Fragrance FR-008 ✅ Rarely worn
Pocket Square PS-002 ✅ Low wear
Slacks SL-023 ✅ Low wear
Footwear DSh-013 ✅ Moderate (Spring/Summer staple)
Vest VWC-0041 ⚠️ Higher wear, but selected for linen fabric to avoid Autumn/Winter look
Why These Selections?
  1. Three completely unworn items (DS-048, NT-050, CL-026) anchor the outfit—exactly what Friday rules call for
  2. Six items total from the least-worn categories, far exceeding the minimum of one
  3. VWC-004 (Perry Ellis Linen) was chosen over lower-wear alternatives because:
  4. Seasonal compliance: Every piece supports a warm-weather palette—lightweight wool, linen, suede, cotton lisle—with no heavy tweeds, flannels, or Fall colors
