Being intentional does't take a day off
Sunday's are my day to make sure everything is ready for the week ahead. But it always starts the same. Coffee with my bride! This sets the tone for my day. After that it is always busy, with laundry, ironing, bill paying and assorted projects around the house. and then it finishes much the way it started. I take my beautiful bride out to a nice dinner so we can reconnect and speak about the upcoming week and what we need to do for each other to make the others life just a little bit easier!
This is (for me) what being intentional is. Being thoughtful about every aspect of my life. Reflecting and just making sure I am taking pride in not only myself, but how I speak to other and how I interact with them. Most importantly making sure my wife is heard everyday. My daily life tends to go 100+mph which is what I thrive on, but being able to slow down and meet her where she is so she gets what she needs from me is a practice that I love!
This is what inspires me every weekend morning.
