Client Reviews utilizing Redtail and GReminders

I'm trying to get our client review process documented especially since Redtail recently added their Client Review module and GReminders added their bulk send which can automatically send scheduling reminders. A while ago I set up tags for each month. Greminders suggest that I use the month tags rather than triggered off of the last review and frequency set up in Redtail Client Reviews tab.

Does anyone have a preference and why.
