RETURN TO YOURSELF WITHIN — MONK SUNDAY
This isn’t about becoming someone new.
It’s about returning to the timeless energy that has ALWAYS been within you.
Monk behavior is simple. Shifting away from the state of doing… and back into the state of being.
Today we move different, THE MONK WAY.
🌅 MORNING MONK PRACTICE
  1. Wake up and DO NOT grab your phone for 30 minutes.
  2. Sit somewhere quiet. No music. No stimulation.
  3. Take 10 slow breaths .. in through the nose 4 secs , out through the mouth 6 seconds.
  4. Just BE. Clear your mind. If you drift off, just gently come back to your body. You also just want to let yourself be and do not block any thoughts. Just simply don’t put your attention and energy into them. Let them BE and gently move on. After about 5 mins of this, gently move on to Number 5.
  5. Ask yourself: Who am I when I’m not rushing? What does calm feel like in my body right now?
Move slower than usual this morning. Walk slower. Eat slower. Speak softer. You are training your nervous system to lead , not react.
Tonight, I’ll post a Monk Wind-Down Practice so we enter this new week grounded, not chaotic.
