Week In Review #3
This week was fantastic Started lifting again after weeks of focusing on my endurance, still feel strong Started creatine again 😈 As the days start to get longer I want to encourage you guys to go for a run, even if it's half a mile I understand many of you have different goals that don't necessarily pertain to hybrid training I am strong advocate for the way I train but I understand that it's not for everyone So I will be releasing a video and a general program on building strength in the next week Im always learning from you guys but let me know if there's anything you all would like to learn from me 😄

Weekly Reflection 2/22 - 2/28
I hope everyone is staying disciplined and putting in the work toward your goals. Every single person in this group is capable of achieving what they set out to do, but it takes consistency, and accountability. This week I went after a sub-5 minute mile and came up short. I ran a 5:30 on the track. That’s not where I want to be at all :/, and I’ll be honest, it was disappointing because I've been training for it for about 5 months, losing strength and about 20 lbs in the process (220 to 200). But there’s still work to do, and I’m ready to get after it, still. We’re all chasing something whether it be fat loss, PRs, PBs, or muscle growth. If you have questions about training, nutrition, recovery, or mindset, ask them. Don’t sit on them. Post your training logs. Share your wins. Share your setbacks. There are people in here besides me who have valuable insight, and someone else might need the answer to the question you’re hesitating to ask. Let’s make this a place where we push each other forward. So I’ll start it off: What’s one question you have right now about your training, nutrition, recovery, or mindset?

Weekly Reflection
What's up everyone, I hope your weekend went well. Wanted to check in before we head into a new week. Even if this week wasn't your best or you've found yourself getting off track that's okay. Don't hesitate to ask me for help, and don't hesitate to help motivate others with their goals too. You guys can make posts as well. I'm thankful for everyone who decided to join and I just want to help you guys, I know each of you has some sort of goal pertaining to fitness, so I just want to ask : What went well this week? Did anything feel off or harder than expected? One adjustment you'll make moving forward? Awareness is key! Let's get better this week :)

Mile training
Hey everyone. Last night I did an interval training session. It felt good. I’m tapering off for my mile PR which essentially just means I’m priming my body for running the mile. The taper is 10 days long and this is my first workout to get my neuromuscular system and aerobic conditioning in line, especially since I’ll be running it outside on a track. I give this workout an 8/10. I’d love to hear your guys’ running goals if you have any. Here’s the workout : 400mx6 @ 95% of goal pace w/90 sec rest in between Most people, especially those just getting into running might have trouble completing this Here’s an easier version of this: 400mx4 in Zone 2 (should be able to hold conversation in this Zone), with 5 minutes walking in between each interval.
