As we celebrate Christmas, we are reminded that wisdom is not seasonal. It is lived daily. Proverbs 12X calls us to walk wisely in every area of life, and Christmas invites us to slow down and realign our hearts with what truly matters. This season reminds us of these timeless principles: Wisdom over impulse Christmas is a time to pause, reflect, and choose wisdom in our words, decisions, and responses. Self mastery Peace begins within. Guard your heart, manage your emotions, and choose patience even in busy moments. Health and wholeness Rest is holy. Joy is healing. Laughter and gratitude strengthen both body and soul. Wealth with purpose True wealth is stewardship. Generosity reflects wisdom and honors God far beyond material things. Relationships built on love Christmas reminds us that connection matters more than perfection. Choose grace. Choose understanding. Choose unity. Faith and direction In every season, acknowledge the Lord and trust Him to guide your path forward. As we celebrate the birth of Christ, may this season renew your strength, sharpen your wisdom, and realign your priorities. May you walk into the coming year grounded, focused, and full of hope. As I read through the preface of Sean’s 3rd edition in the proverbs 12x devotional. I think about the students that God has blessed me with to teach and the importance of wisdom that they need as well as I do. As I begin reading I pray and ask God to help me retain and understand what I am reading so that I can gain more of his wisdom for all areas of my life.

Monday I came to a realization that made me think. I had some neck and shoulder tightness the previous week but until Monday morning I did not realize why. I had thought I slept wrong or maybe pulled something working in the garden or the shop. But on the way to work thinking of all the things I need to do , the tightness came back. That’s when I realized I need to give all this to God more. I was once again relying on my own abilities and not truly giving it to God. My new role teaching has got me doing more thinking than ever in my life. I have to keep the kids engaged or things go off the rails. So I move forward, asking our Father in heaven to guide me and help me as I build this new calling and honor you. Along the way I ask for peace and to let go trusting that You Father God will guide me well not rely solely on myself
