SKU's with shopify

Hi, So i am on Shopify and have listed a poster. Is it possible to import orders so the sku's match up with more variations than just size? For example my listing has size variation and poster variation (different posters same theme on the same listing). This is OK although i believe i have to put an SKU to each variation as its not just size variants.

I am happy to do this however if i add another variation for matte/ gloss/ satin finish i cant see how this would work? Thank you
