Christmas cut off date

I'm trying to plan ahead, I have updated my shop announcement and shop banner with the cut off date. What would you guys suggest to do if people order after the cut off date? Do I message and let them know that they may not get the order on time or just process the order as normal, I worry that if I message customers that will lead to numerous cancelled orders.
