Did the way you managed your shop while you were away work well? I am going away at the end of September and plan on setting up auto reply to messages and extending my production time. Is there anything else you'd suggest from your experience?

@Geoff Nugent Thanks for your reply 🙂 This month has been quite quiet, I'm glad you still got traction! I don't see why Etsy can't change their vacation mode to still keeps shops up and running and just send an auto message saying the shop owner in on vacation, it would make things so much easier for us and less likely to put potential customers off, if the come across our shop for the first time and see the extended production time.

Thanks for the comments. Yes, I think she was just trying her luck and attempting to scare me into taking my listings down. I used ChatGPT to help me write a response explaining that I haven’t copied her designs, so I won’t be taking down my listings. She replied saying that she would take it further with Etsy, but I haven’t heard anything since. After doing some research into the situation, I don’t think she would have a particularly strong case, so I’m not too worried at the moment.
