Meditation 140 days in a row
I've meditated 140 days in a row and its changed my entire way i experience the world.
Practice has been 90% of the time 40 minutes of meditation first thing in the morning, followed by 10-20 minute slow walk and just existing.
Benefits I've noticed:
  • Less automatic reactivity in stressful situations, I can control how I respond. Remember its the actions that matter (i.e in an argument you can lash out in hate or take a breathe and react rationally or with love)
  • Cognitive benefits, I just feel more sharp and thoughts are just better
  • Trauma has surfaced and passed - resulting in a deep sense of peace. It's like 6 months ago I was unconsciously always in a fight or flight state and now I'm straight chilling constantly having an underlying feeling of safety.
  • Social situations / anxiety literally just doesn't exist anymore. Not just social but anxiety about the future has disappeared too.
I'll post some tips on psychology too soon :)
Hope this motivates you to be consistent with meditation, it's a fucking sensational habit that actually changes your life. Beyond surface level bs so common in self improvement, this actually works.
