Video for online courses. Help!! :)
Hi everyone! I've been working through creating my online course with the framework, workbooks, supplemental materials etc. I am now looking to record videos for the course. My idea, which I thought was simple, was to create a slide deck and basically walk through the framework. Essentially I was thinking it would be almost like a zoom call where I would have a split screen between myself and the deck I'm going to use.
I'm not sure if this is simple or not, but I seemed to have complicated this to the extreme. I started building my deck in Canva, however I've now seen that Canva only allows for a small circular window in the corner of the deck; not what I was going for. I tried putting it into PPT. I've tried recording a zoom. Looking into other programs. I'm hitting a wall.
So I wanted to reach out for help or advice ASAP before I waste any more days on this. My question is.... has anyone recorded a video using the idea of going through a powerpoint or template of sorts where the speaker (me) is visible alongside the decks? The easiest or best way possible to go about recording these videos for an online course would be greatly appreciated!!
My last thought was that i may just have to record myself, attach the deck as a reference and then also supply the workbook and supplemental docs, but I wanted, at a minimum, for the clients to be able to see what I'm referencing while I'm speaking. HELP!! I have faith that it's an easy solution, just need to get on the right path before I keep wasting more time! THANKS!!!!
