Ben Kjar’s story was an incredible reminder that even if life throws obstacles at you, you have the power to step into your calling and make a difference. Let’s dive into the key lessons he shared!

What I Learned: Embrace Your Uniqueness & Stand Out

Ben's journey began with a tough reality—he was born with Crouzon syndrome, which made him look different. But instead of letting this hold him back, he embraced his uniqueness and chose to stand out. Ben’s mom told him something that would forever change his life:

“You were born different, so make a difference.”

This simple but powerful statement helped Ben realize that the things that make him different are what make him extraordinary. This led him to become a 3X high school state wrestling champion and a 5X national wrestling champion. He didn’t just accept his challenges—he used them to fuel his purpose and defy the odds.

How You Can Apply This

Step into Your Calling: Whatever challenges you face, know that you were meant to stand out. The things that make you different can be your greatest strengths. Use them to make a difference!

2. Choose to Be a Victor, Not a Victim: Life will throw hard things your way, but you always have the choice to either let them defeat you or to rise above them. Choose to be a victor, not a victim.

3. Surround Yourself with a Team That Believes in You: Ben’s family and coaches were always there to support him, even when others doubted him. Build your own support system that pushes you to step into your greatness.

4. Put in the Extra Work: Like Ben said, if you want to stand out, the minimum effort won’t cut it. Champions do the extra 20% that no one else is willing to do.

How I’m Putting This into Practice

In building the Challenger Syndicate, my plan is to help others embrace their unique strengths and step into their calling.

It’s not about being like everyone else...it’s about standing out and making a difference.

Like Ben, I’m focusing on putting in that extra 20% to create something truly extraordinary. 💪
