Peng Joon's lil' trick for webinars
I remember being hooked by Peng Joon's webinar emails and formats. I consider him to be a king of webinar, although I haven't heard from him since 2021.... Does anyone know if he's ok?
The absolute mad lad would schedule his webinar and run emails leading up to it telling little stories, and then ONCE it was over, he would send you emails promoting his daily his pre-framing videos AFTER as if it were a freebie he was giving you for just turning up. What most people annoyed their registrants with before the event, he wrapped up as a gift and had you do it after.
The effect of this is bonkers, and he spoke about it in the OG OFA as well as a webinar of his I watched later. It got a large % of the fence sitters to sell themselves on his offer, with a little unobtrusive "sign up here" button that would appear towards the end of the pre framing video.
I don't remember his statistics, but it was something obscene like 30% of his purchases happened through this format. Talk about an abandoned cart sequence! Absolute killer.
Anyway, this is sort of the whole point of a challenge now a days, but if you aren't going to do a challenge (you should do both, but do you), give this idea a trial run on your webinars. It's honestly a killer move.
