AI tools.
So I’ve been deep in the AI rabbit hole lately while working on my new program. I’ve tried a bunch of them—and let me tell you, I have learned some things. Like, apparently with ChatGPT, you actually have to say “yes” or “ok” sometimes before it does the thing. Who knew? I was over here waiting like it owed me rent.
Anyway, I wanted to share two AI tools I tested. One was a game-changer. The other nearly gave me a rage migraine, and definitely left me with a tension headache.
First up: Gamma.AI. It’s like the Martha Stewart of slideshow creators—smart, efficient, and made my script look like I had a design team working overtime. I dumped in my webinar content and boom: beautiful slides. I had to do some tweaking, but overall, it saved me hours (and possibly my sanity).
Then… there was Designrr. Oh Designrr. If you enjoy chaos, tears, and formatting PTSD, this one’s for you. It promises to turn your document into a stunning eBook. What it actually does is gaslight you into thinking you’re the problem. Change a font? Layout explodes. Adjust a color? Suddenly your title page is in Sanskrit. It was a two-day battle that ended with me rage-quitting and whispering “never again” like I just left a bad Tinder date.
Moral of the story: AI can be magical… or mildly traumatic. Choose wisely.
Also...please reply with any AI you have found to be really amazing or supremely frustrating. I think we all need shortcuts!
