Happy Sabbath! Sabbath Skool Animal Trivia
Happy Sabbath, Everyone! Welcome back to Sabbath Skool Animal Trivia! This week we’re not looking at a literal animal story. We’re looking at one of the most powerful animal symbols in all of Scripture, and it points directly to Jesus. From Genesis to Revelation, God chose a specific animal to represent the Messiah. Strength. Sovereignty. Victory. This animal appears in one of Jacob’s final blessings over his sons, and it shows up again in the last book of the Bible in a moment that brings heaven to its knees. The same title given in prophecy to a tribe of Israel becomes the triumphant name of the risen Savior in Revelation 5. The One who was slain is also the One who conquers. This Week’s Question: What animal symbol is used for Jesus, which tribe of Israel is it connected to? Read carefully, because the progression of this symbol across Scripture tells a story all on its own! Hint: Start in Genesis 49, then jump to Revelation 5:5. 🌟 Fun Extra: After answering, share one interesting fact, scientific, behavioral, or biblical, about this animal! May your Sabbath be filled with rest, reverence, and the reminder that our Savior is both gentle enough to save us and mighty enough to conquer everything that stands against us! 🙏

Happy Sabbath! Sabbath Skool Animal Trivia
Happy Sabbath, Everyone! Welcome back to Sabbath Skool Animal Trivia! This week’s story features one of the most jaw-dropping moments in all of Scripture, and it involves an animal doing something that should be absolutely impossible. We’re still in the wilderness with the children of Israel! God needed to stop a prophet in his tracks, a man who was on his way to do something that would bring harm to His people. So the Lord opened the mouth of an unexpected messenger. Not an angel. Not a man. An animal. And this creature said something that stopped the prophet cold and opened his eyes to what he’d been blind to all along. Sound impossible? Well, with God, nothing is. And this moment wasn’t just dramatic, it was an act of mercy. The animal saw what the prophet couldn’t. Three times. This Week’s Question: What animal spoke to the prophet, and what was the prophet’s name? Read carefully, because why the animal spoke matters just as much as what it said! No Googling, this is Sabbath trivia, not a search contest! 😊 Hint: Start in Numbers 22, then notice how 2 Peter 2:16 references this same story centuries later. 🌟 Fun Extra: After naming the animal and prophet, share one interesting fact, scientific, behavioral, or biblical, about this animal! May your Sabbath be filled with rest, wonder, and the reminder that God can use anyone and anything to speak truth! 🙏
Happy Sabbath! Sabbath Skool Animal Trivia 🐾
Happy Sabbath, Everyone! Welcome back to Sabbath Skool Animal Trivia! This week’s story was actually inspired by what’s going on in our own household. Our family has been a little under the weather this week, and as I was praying and seeking comfort in the Word, this particular story jumped out at me. God’s faithfulness in times of sickness is such a beautiful theme throughout Scripture, and I couldn’t think of a better one to share with you all on Sabbath! This Week’s Question: We’re heading into the wilderness with the children of Israel! In the book of Numbers, God used a specific animal in a miraculous act of healing. The people were suffering, they cried out, and God gave Moses an unusual instruction, one that required nothing but faith and a look to be saved. Sound familiar? Jesus himself referenced this very story in John 3:14 and 15, connecting it to His own sacrifice on the cross. Just as Israel only had to look in faith at what God provided to be physically healed, we only have to look in faith to Christ lifted up on Calvary to receive eternal life. Same God. Same grace. Same story. What animal did God use in this wilderness miracle? Read carefully, because the way it brought healing is just as important as the animal itself! And just like trivia night, please no Googling! 😊 Hint: Start in Numbers 21, then read John 3:14 and 15 to see how Jesus connected this ancient story to the plan of salvation. 🌟 Fun Extra: After naming the animal, share one interesting fact about it, scientific, behavioral, or biblical! 😊 I’ll announce the answer tomorrow. May your Sabbath be filled with rest and the joy of discovery
