Day 6 Lesson 2 Reflect on What God Is Showing You.
This week, through the cleansing prayer and studying Matthew 21 and 22, God has been speaking to me deeply about the condition of my heart—not just what I say, but what I live. He showed me three things clearly: The fig tree—appearance with no fruit. The two sons—words without obedience. The tenants—responsibility without faithfulness. And it made me pause. Because it caused me to ask… is my heart truly aligned with Him in every area, or are there places I need to realign? Then, going into Matthew 22, I saw something even deeper. The invitation is freely given—but the response has to be real. You can be invited… You can even show up…but if there’s no transformation, it shows. God is not just calling us to say yes—He’s calling us to live it. What He’s been showing me is this: Saying yes to God means nothing if I’m not willing to follow Him in obedience. And also… I own nothing. Everything I have has been entrusted to me by Him. Being entrusted is not the same as owning. And I want to be found faithful with what He’s given me. This week has been a moment to pause and examine my heart more intentionally—not because I’m not walking with God, but because I want to stay aligned with Him in every area. That’s something we should all be doing daily. Not surface-level… but allowing Him to continually refine and transform us.
Day 2 Lesson3– Hallowed Be Your Name (Honor & Reverence)
10 names of God and what they reveal about His character: 1. Jehovah Jireh – The Lord my Provider 2. Jehovah Rapha – The Lord my Healer 3. Jehovah Shalom – The Lord my Peace 4. Jehovah Nissi – The Lord my Banner (Victory) 5. Jehovah Raah – The Lord my Shepherd 6. El Shaddai – God Almighty 7. Adonai – Lord and Master 8. El Roi – The God who sees me 9. Jehovah Tsidkenu – The Lord my Righteousness 10. Abba Father – My loving Father Each name reminds me of who He is and how He moves in my life. ❓ Does my life reflect that I truly honor God’s name? I strive daily for my life to honor Him—in my thoughts, my words, and my actions. I’m not perfect, but my heart is to live in a way that reflects who He is.
Day 5 – Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread (Dependence)
This really ties in with what we see in Matthew 25:1–13. The difference between the wise and the foolish wasn’t just about a moment—it was about preparation and consistency. The wise were ready because they lived prepared, not because they waited until the last minute. And that’s what God has been showing me… depending on Him isn’t meant to happen only in desperate moments, but daily. It’s in the everyday choosing to seek Him, trust Him, and stay filled. When we only go to Him when we feel desperate, we end up running on empty. But when we rely on Him daily, we stay ready, steady, and aligned with Him. For me, this has been a reminder to not just come to God when I need something—but to walk with Him in everything. He’s not just a God we call on… He’s a Father we live with daily.
Todays Prayer
“Familiarity becomes a shield we use to avoid being vulnerable, but faith calls us to lay that shield down and trust God fully, drawing us into oneness with the Father.” Father, tear down every place where I’ve grown comfortable but not connected. Remove the shields I’ve built through familiarity, and teach me to trust You deeply. Lead me into true oneness with You through faith. Amen.
Day 5 Lesson 4 – Love Keeps No Record of Wrongs.
Forgiveness has been real for me because it’s not always a one-time decision—it’s something I’ve had to keep choosing. There have been people I’ve had to forgive, and honestly, the biggest step for me has been learning to release it and give it back to God instead of picking it back up again. Some days, that just looks like praying through it all over again, even when I feel like I’ve already dealt with it. And I don’t think forgiveness means we forget. It just means we’re not holding it against them anymore or letting it control our hearts. The memory might still be there, but it doesn’t carry the same weight or have the same hold on me.
