Welcome to the Prayer Bible Project Academy! We are so glad you’ve joined us. This community is part of Shread Ambassadors, and it was created to help believers grow deeper in prayer and in God’s Word by learning how to pray Scripture and build a personal Prayer Bible. Start Here Go to the Classroom and begin with the lesson titled: “Start Here: Creating Your Prayer Bible.” In this lesson you will see two different ways to build your Prayer Bible: • Pastor Beth’s Method • Pastor Charlene’s Method Choose the method that works best for you and begin setting up your Prayer Bible. You will also find the 7-Day Prayer Bible Challenge, which will help you begin interacting with Scripture through coloring, journaling, reflection, and prayer. Acts 2:1–13 THE HOLY SPIRIT COMES AT PENTECOST
Jesus had promised that His followers would receive power when the Holy Spirit came upon them. They obeyed, gathered, prayed, and waited, but they did not cause the promise to happen. When God's appointed time came at Pentecost, He poured out the Holy Spirit, empowering His people to declare His mighty works and become witnesses for Jesus. Ask Yourself - Do I desire the Holy Spirit merely for an experience, or do I desire to be completely surrendered to God? - Can I continue praying and obeying when God has not yet shown me when or how He will move? - Am I willing to let the Holy Spirit change me, empower me, and use me for God's purposes? - If I am asking God for more, am I also willing to give Him more of me? I cannot manufacture God's power, but I can remain surrendered, obedient, prayerful, and ready for everything He desires to do in me.

I'm STOPPED in the Waiting!
Waiting isn't only about trusting the promise; it can also become a place of surrender where I ask God to make me ready for whatever He desires to do in me. Ask Yourself - Am I asking God only for something new, or am I willing for Him to make me new? - Is there anything old I'm holding onto that the Holy Spirit is asking me to place in the Father's hands? - Am I willing to be stretched beyond the ways I've always thought, responded, or operated? - If God gives me what I'm asking for, is my deepest desire still: “Let them see Jesus, not me”? Father, while I wait for what You promised, make me new enough to receive whatever You desire to do in me.

Acts 1:12–26 WAITING IN PRAYER AND OBEDIENCE
The believers did not waste the time between Jesus' promise and its fulfillment. They obeyed His instruction to remain in Jerusalem, devoted themselves to prayer, looked to Scripture for direction, and trusted God to prepare them for what was coming. Ask Yourself - When God tells me to wait, do I remain faithful in prayer and obedience? - Am I allowing Scripture to guide how I understand the circumstances around me? - Do I trust that God may be preparing me even when I cannot yet see what He is doing? - Am I willing to let God examine my heart rather than focusing only on what others can see? Waiting on God is not wasted time; it is often where He prepares our hearts for what He has promised.
