Run the “W”, change of direction drill
This is a great change of direction drill for Team Sport athletes. You pace out 7 to 8 strides for each cone, setting up enough of an angle so the athlete can do a tight turn and generate enough speed to be put under pressure to decelerate and then accelerate again.
