Using the wicket drill to improve running technique for junior athletes
Here we are using the wicked drill for a 10-year-old athlete wanting to improve running technique. We adjust the spacing to get her to turn over properly and focus on driving her arms and extend the spacing slightly to get her feeling that she needs to push off the ground more strongly in order to run over the wickets with a fast motion.
