Lesson #3 - Fabric 101 - Lesson learned!

The one thing that I learned (that I forgot about) was about the velvet panels and right direction. This actually happened to me at a recent event and I thought that it was the venue lighting. I did not see the difference in the mock-up created at home before the event. Now, I know to sew pockets on both ends of velvet. My husband and I seemed to be the only people that noticed. That actually happened because I had to change the design at the venue (in Tampa) because I had been given the incorrect measurements for the space.
