Revisiting Past Designs
These backdrops were created a few years ago, but their simple design makes them timeless. Knowing what I now, I would spread out the swags on the criss cross design to give it a better flow.

This is exactly the process @Daphne S-w 👏🏽 Revisiting past designs with fresh eyes is where real growth happens. What once felt “finished” becomes a learning tool when your skill set expands. Being able to identify flow, spacing, and balance like adjusting the swags in a criss-cross design shows how far you’ve come creatively. Going back, visualizing what you’d do differently, and then rebuilding those designs with your current knowledge is powerful. It not only sharpens your craft, but it also gives you the opportunity to update your portfolio with work that truly represents where you are now. Timeless designs evolve as we do and that evolution is worth documenting
The One Piece You’re Missing to Install Chandeliers
Quick reality check for designers, you can’t hang chandeliers or heavy embellishments without the right attachment. Period. In this clip, I break down the chandelier hanger + coupler that’s taking installs from blah to ba-ba-boom with minimal effort. This is one of our top-selling add-ons because it makes chandelier installs, floral drops, and statement embellishments easy, secure, and professional, without rigging stress. And yes, it’s affordable and sells out fast for a reason. Grab yours here before they’re gone:👉 https://poshdrapingdepot.com/products/chandelier-hanger-and-coupler-36-reach If you’re serious about elevating your installs the right way, this is a non-negotiable tool for your inventory.

Absolutely agree 🙌🏽 I use this setup in my installs, and it’s a total game-changer. Secure, seamless, and makes every chandelier or hanging element feel effortless. Definitely one of those “once you know, you know” tools. This is a mockup I was working on last year using it.

@Elizabeth McNichols Thank you 😊
Collaboration (PDU, CANVA, & CAPCUTetc..)
Today I spent some time inside Posh Design Studio after the Valentine’s elements were dropped, and I wanted to encourage more creatives to really utilize tools like this when building out concepts. Being able to mock up draping, add coordinating design elements, and visually enhance the overall look before execution is a game changer. What really brings everything together is collaborating platforms like Posh Design Studio, Canva, and CapCut each serving a different purpose in the creative process. Here’s what I did for this design: • Created the draping and design elements in Posh Design Studio • Uploaded the design into Canva • Added the couple, refined the layout, and selected music directly in Canva From there, you can easily take that same design into CapCut to push creativity even further adding transitions, storytelling, cinematic edits, or social-first effects. From a marketing perspective, this workflow is powerful because: • Clients can clearly see the vision before committing • It creates scroll-stopping content for social media • It builds trust by showing intentional planning and design • It provides reusable content (mockups, teasers, reels, and previews) Client-focused insight: People don’t just book a setup—they book the experience and the confidence that you understand their vision. Visual mockups paired with music and motion help close that gap. If you’re designing events, draping, or immersive experiences, don’t rely on just one platform. The collaboration of tools is what truly elevates the final result ✨

Angel vs Ask Posh (Cross-training)
Your tools are only as powerful as the instructions you give them. As your business grows, your voice, services, and systems evolve and your AI assistant (like Angel my ChatGPT ) should evolve with you. Angel is evolving and Ask Posh is her big sister so she continues to learn. Here’s how to keep your AI aligned with your brand: 1. Refine As You Go Don’t wait for it to be perfect. Update your AI with new language, service changes, tone shifts, or better ways of explaining your process just like you would train a team member. 2. Save What Works When you create something that sounds like you or communicates your process clearly, drop it into your AI’s instructions. That becomes your brand foundation inside the tool. 3. Speak with Intention Treat your AI like a strategic partner, not just a task rabbit. The more clarity you give it, the more value you’ll get back. 4. Encourage Iteration Share your process with others in your circle. The more we refine how we use these tools, the more they’ll reflect us our brands, our values, our vision.
