Hi! I’m Nicole, I’m 35 and live in Metro Detroit with my husband and 2 rescue pups Willow (German Shepherd mix) and Watson (Husky mix). I am a dental hygienist who’s hobbies outside of houseplants include reading, walking, gardening, landscaping/house projects on our 1930s cottage, jigsaw puzzles, and numerous other crafts I will never complete. I started my small biz Willow + Watson Botanicals (of course named after my dogs) last year as a way to make a little extra cash, but mostly as a way to connect with the house plant community that I’ve fallen so in love with! I have my first few local vendor shows coming up this summer and I’m so excited!

Before my husband came home from active military service I was pursuing my BS in Psychology, as my short-term goal is/was to be a clinical mental health therapist or victims advocate. My long-term goal is/was to get my Psy.D and become a forensic psychologist. Now I have stepped back from school and I’m pursuing my own plant business!! I’m excited to be here in this community and SO grateful for the connections I’ve made already 🥰
