Everyone is trying their best
Hey! I woke up this morning and decided to make my mantra for today, "Everyone is trying their best - Even Me!" I realized that I have been in a funk for a while and was spending too much time trying to figure out why and how to fix it (I know right? have you met me?) The Universe gave me a freebie snow day that I did not ask for and did not plan for. I get a chance to enjoy it, take time for myself and focus on what is important to me. I am important to me first and foremost. Then I get to think about other people. I had the order of that backwards for much of my life. But that is different today. And I find that I have to make that decision often - as often as needed to redirect my attention (like a toddler with ADHD) back to put myself first, be willing to sit with myself and my emotions, and choose again. So I wanted to share my thoughts - Everyone is trying their best today, even you. Approaching life from this perspective is powerful to give everyone grace for today and believe the best in everyone, including ME! How does this Mantra sit with you? I would love to hear about it.

Getting our of your comfort zone
Hellooo! Shout out to the community today! I wanted to encourage you to be amazing today and step out of your comfort zone. I have taken a few steps in this direction this week and while Terrifying 😮 it has also been rewarding 😁. We all have amazing things to share that only we can give to the world around us. Share your amazing today with someone! Then come back and tell us about it. We would love to hear about it!

Conversation with your younger self.
🦄Hello, my beautiful unicorns!!!!!! I wanted to open a thread about what you would tell a younger you if you had the chance. What do you wish you had known earlier in life that might have saved a lot of hurt and suffering? I'm not necessarily talking about pain from others, but pain we open ourselves to and suffering we create for ourselves. That may sound harsh, but I believe that we create the world around us. We decide by how we carry ourselves and how we show up. This determines what we allow in our space and how we allow others to treat us. I'm not talking about the 5-year-old who is abused by her family, but about adult choices. We learn stories and what we believe about ourselves that shape what happens when we are that 5-year-old. And it defines how we approach life, deal with challenges, and the power we give to those around us. Just something to think about. I would wager that the lessons you would tell your younger self about are very applicable to the current challenge you don't want to think about in your life right now. Share your thoughts! I would LOVE to hear your ideas and feedback!

Celebrating wins!
What is something you are proud of this week? OR What is a win for you (small or large) this week? I spent some time in our local schools helping out this week with ALL ages! Including middle and high school kiddos. AND I SURVIVED! I actually enjoyed it some. I consider that a win (for them and for me)!!
