🦄Hello, my beautiful unicorns!!!!!!
I wanted to open a thread about what you would tell a younger you if you had the chance.
What do you wish you had known earlier in life that might have saved a lot of hurt and suffering?
I'm not necessarily talking about pain from others, but pain we open ourselves to and suffering we create for ourselves. That may sound harsh, but I believe that we create the world around us. We decide by how we carry ourselves and how we show up. This determines what we allow in our space and how we allow others to treat us. I'm not talking about the 5-year-old who is abused by her family, but about adult choices.
We learn stories and what we believe about ourselves that shape what happens when we are that 5-year-old. And it defines how we approach life, deal with challenges, and the power we give to those around us.
Just something to think about.
I would wager that the lessons you would tell your younger self about are very applicable to the current challenge you don't want to think about in your life right now.
Share your thoughts! I would LOVE to hear your ideas and feedback!
