Monday Prayer for Tuesday PAUSE
Good AFTERNOON, Lord.
Monday has pushed past fast.
As we step into a new week, we choose something that does not come naturally to most of us.
We choose to pause.
PAST the emails.
PAST the appointments.
PAST the responsibilities.
PAST the noise.
We come to You.
Thank You for being a God who is never rushed, never anxious, never uncertain about what comes next.
While we often hurry through our days searching for answers, You invite us into Your presence.
This afternoon, we release the pressure to have everything figured out.
We release the need to control outcomes.
We release the fear that we are falling behind.
Instead, we receive Your peace.
For every woman in this community, I pray that You would meet her exactly where she is. In the middle of a transition, a decision, a disappointment, a dream, a calling, or a season of waiting—remind her that she is not alone in the hallway.
Help us recognize Your voice above every competing voice.
Help us notice Your fingerprints in ordinary MONDAYS!
Help us trust that even when we cannot see the next door opening, You are still leading us forward.
As we gather tomorrow for our first PAUSE, prepare our hearts.
Create space within us to listen, reflect, pray, and hear what You want to say.
May this become more than a meeting.
May it become a sacred appointment with You.
Teach us to be still enough to hear.
Quiet enough to receive.
Brave enough to obey.
And confident enough to believe that You are working, even in the waiting.
We surrender this week, this journey, and our hearts into Your loving hands.
