Monday Prayer for Tuesday PAUSE
Good AFTERNOON, Lord. Monday has pushed past fast. As we step into a new week, we choose something that does not come naturally to most of us. We choose to pause. PAST the emails. PAST the appointments. PAST the responsibilities. PAST the noise. We come to You. Thank You for being a God who is never rushed, never anxious, never uncertain about what comes next. While we often hurry through our days searching for answers, You invite us into Your presence. This afternoon, we release the pressure to have everything figured out. We release the need to control outcomes. We release the fear that we are falling behind. Instead, we receive Your peace. For every woman in this community, I pray that You would meet her exactly where she is. In the middle of a transition, a decision, a disappointment, a dream, a calling, or a season of waiting—remind her that she is not alone in the hallway. Help us recognize Your voice above every competing voice. Help us notice Your fingerprints in ordinary MONDAYS! Help us trust that even when we cannot see the next door opening, You are still leading us forward. As we gather tomorrow for our first PAUSE, prepare our hearts. Create space within us to listen, reflect, pray, and hear what You want to say. May this become more than a meeting. May it become a sacred appointment with You. Teach us to be still enough to hear. Quiet enough to receive. Brave enough to obey. And confident enough to believe that You are working, even in the waiting. We surrender this week, this journey, and our hearts into Your loving hands. READY...LET'S GO with some IMPORTANT DETAILS!
Sweet Friend--my heart is overflowing with excitement to share this space with you!! As you know--The goal of this group is to help us all establish and prioritize an intentional time of LISTENING/JOURNALED prayer. This is how it will look! 1. SUNDAY AFTERNOON. A weekly prayer and theme will be posted on Sunday Afternoons to end your SABBATH and set intentions and focus for the next week. I will share a themed prayer and bit of how God is leading me/us for the coming week including a prayer prompts sheet. 1. LIVE GATHERINGS EVERY OTHER TUESDAY. (2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month) By setting 2 times each month we will capture and commit to this life giving rhythm and draw from those in the in between spaces. THE HALLWAYS OF OUR LIFE! OUR FACE TO FACE GATHERINGS will be here in the GROUP via SKOOL CALENDAR LINK. Each meeting will be set for an hour with a session of Worship and GUIDED Lectio Divina. I will set some time at the end for personal pray needs--for the sake of time, they will be messaged ahead of our meetings. All meetings are recorded for those. who can not meet on that Tuesday but I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE you to make it a priority of God allows for the space. It will change your faith journey--your FAITH QUEST! Sunday June 7th will be my first Sunday prompt. Recording times will vary but will be posted here. I am praying to see your face this Tuesday!

Welcome Prayer for the Permission to Pause Prayer & Journaling Group
THE FIRST STEP IN A WEEKLY RHYTHM!! Please agree with me on this prayer! Foundational Scripture:Isaiah 30:21“Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it.’” Heavenly Father, We pause together in this sacred moment with grateful hearts. Thank You for gathering each woman who enters this space. You know every story, every transition, every hidden burden, every unanswered question, and every quiet longing carried into this community. Thank You for being the God who still speaks. In a world filled with noise, distraction, pressure, and hurry, we ask You to create something different here. Let this become a peaceful place of prayer, reflection, wisdom, healing, and holy pause. As we gather around Your Word each week, quiet our hearts enough to hear Your gentle voice whisper: “This is the way; walk in it.” For the woman who feels overwhelmed, bring peace. For the woman searching for direction, bring clarity. For the woman carrying disappointment, bring hope. For the woman feeling weary or unseen, remind her that You are near. Teach us to slow down long enough to notice Your presence in our ordinary days. Help us create spiritual rhythms that draw us closer to You and strengthen our faith in every season of life. May this community be marked by grace, encouragement, honesty, compassion, and truth. Bless every journal page written, every prayer lifted, every scripture reflected upon, and every woman who says yes to making space for You again. Lord, lead us gently. Guide our thoughts. Renew our minds. Restore our souls. Help us walk faithfully in the direction You are calling us to go. We surrender this community completely to You and invite Your presence into every conversation, every gathering, and every quiet moment shared here. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Why I'll be working on our first resources this weekend with a FRESH ANOINTING!!
Hi friends-- Most of this group, if not all since we are still small, knows that my life, like yours, has been one long QUEST OF FAITH! It has OFTEN (more the last decade than ever before) been a MESSY, MESSY QUEST AT BEST! This past few years as I have felt God leading me into more or a LEGACY QUEST--more coaching; more support; more lifting other women higher--sometimes I have felt my very MESSIEST! CALLING IS MESSY! CALLING REQUIRES OUR FULL SURRENDER! Today--I woke up today with one of those PRECIOUS GOD NODS about the path we are on! For decades, God has woven one word through my ministry, retreats, workshops, coaching, and resources: QUEST. Some of you may remember names like: Rest Quest A Woman's Quest Freedom Quest Vision Quest Years ago, I even began creating Bible reading and quiet time resources called A QUIET QUEST—a gathering of resources that never fully came to full life and were eventually tucked away in a file drawer. This morning as I was praying about THIS GROUP and what I woudl like to offer, I realized something. THAT QUEST was not forgotten. GOD PLANTED THAT DREAM many years ago-- As I prayed about our new Permission to Pause Prayer & Journaling Group, I suddenly saw it. This community IS "A Quiet Quest" coming to life! THIS IS A HOME FOR THAT DREAM! LET THIS ENCOURAGE YOU!! GOD HEARS YOUR PRAYERS! HE KNOWS YOUR DREAMS! HE HAS A GOOD PLAN!! A Quiet Quest is not a race. Not a performance. Not another thing to accomplish. THIS WILL BE a quiet journey. A sacred invitation to slow down, hear God's voice, reflect on His Word, and walk faithfully through the season you are in. Isaiah 30:21 says: "Your ears will hear a voice behind you saying, 'This is the way; walk in it.'" That is what a quest is, isn't it? One step. One page. One prayer. One whisper from God at a time. What began as a dream many years ago is finally finding its place. And I couldn't be more grateful that you're here to walk this Quiet Quest with me. 🤍 Pat INVITE A FRIEND!!
