As we navigate this path of understanding we'll find that the 10,000 things aren't only connected but are stacked for functionality. They don't just hold hands but pass energy between them. This energy transfer is what makes it all work. The river picks up sediment, debris, seeds, nutrients, and carries them from a source to begin a new transfer down stream, where they will benefit that system. The return comes from the wind, rain, animals, birds, ect.
