Welcome
Welcome to Permaculture Solutions. We are going to explore the world from the soil to the high rises. Classes will be dropping soon, covering, in depth, what permaculture design is and how to apply the lessons to our everyday lives. More importantly, it is getting to know each other and building a functioning community, much like the ecosystems we find in nature. All living things build together through their unique functions to continue life. We can do the same. With that, please let us know who you are, where you're from, and what drives your passion.

Schedule
After the last "challenge" and the Live meeting that didn't go well, I have come to understand that we all have different schedules and are spread across the world. So my solution is to set a schedule for when a class will post, when a check on learning will be due (for lack of a better term), and when a live meeting will be held. My tentative plan is to post a lesson on Monday and follow up on the following Sunday with a Live meeting. Challenges or checks on learning submissions will occur at the end of instructional blocks. For example: Monday - Lesson on Climate will post Tues-Sat - Members will review the lesson Sunday - Live meeting to review as a class with Q&A Approximately 3-4 lessons - Check on learning challenge I will do my absolute best to keep this schedule. If there are any delays on my end, I will update everyone and push them to the next week. This should give everyone time to receive emails and set their schedule. This will start next Monday. Please, let me know what you all think about this. There is no pressure to rush through any material, and if you need extra time, don't feel that you will be left behind. I love this stuff and will absolutely take the time to talk with you out of line. I would prefer to hold class discussions in the Classroom Talk tab and keep all other discussions in the General Discussion tab; however, if you feel more comfortable talking privately, I'm okay with that too. The big picture is for everyone to understand the lessons and begin to apply them in their daily lives. Problems are the solutions. Thank you

Today is Today
Welcome to Tuesday morning. Sometimes it feels that the fork in the road we're on is more like an intersection. With traffic lights that aren't timed right with the flow of traffic. This can create frustration as we try to push towards our destinations. Panic developes as the timing of when we feel we need to be somewhere sets in. Our nerves stand on edge, our patience begins to wane, and the urge to split off on what appears to be short cuts haunts our minds. We become distracted by all these things and forget that we have no control of what the world is doing. It's at this moment we must let go. Let go of our relationship with unhinged chaos and embrace the beauty of the way it is. We must fall back on our observations of the natural world. Allow ourselves to flow against, around, through the hardness like the river. Become resilient like the tree reforming in the wind. Rooted deep in the soils we have nurtured to feed us... What have you learned from this journey so far? How have you applied these teachings to your life?
